In an industry where there is in a rise in customer’s expectation of quality service, competition, it has become more important to equip industry professionals and students in the field of study to prepare them adequately for the job market.
In pursuance of its commitment in giving back to industry to develop and build human capacity, Fiesta Royale Hotel has offered its support to iLearn Hospitality Training Centre, by way of providing hands-on training / coaching to its students as iLearn Hospitality Training Centre is poised to improve skills of its students for the Hotels & Guest Houses.
The Executive Chef of Fiesta Royale Hotel, Richard Kranz recently took his turn with students of iLearn Hospitality Training Centre and brought his expertise to bear in areas such as the structure of the Kitchen brigade system, job descriptions and responsibilities of food production staff, Hygiene, Cleanliness, workplace safety. The Executive Chef also had a practical session with the students where he demonstrated to students the making of pasta carbonara. It was an exciting moment for both students and the instructor and this was clearly demonstrated during the Q & A session.
Benefits of quality service could not be overemphasized. The Management of Fiesta Royale Hotel remains committed to enhancing service quality by affording students practical attachment and equipping them with the requisite professional skills so when they churn out of school, they will add value to the industry. Other respective Heads of Department will also have the opportunity to interact with students of iLearn Hospitality Training Centre in due course.
