On his part, the General Manager of Fiesta Royale Hotel, Mr. Jaco Y. Kotze encouraged the disabled that under no circumstance should any of them permit disability to hold them back but rather enhance them in reaching their full potentials as they contribute to the development of their own communities. And in the light of the fact that Fiesta Royale Hotel happened to be the only Hotel supporting this worthy course in the hospitality industry for five [5] years, Mr. Kotze called on industry players to realize the need to go deeper in stakeholder engagements and take a holistic look at employing the disabled and to assist the Community in general. He added that the invitation to challenge from DESO to create employment opportunities for the disabled is welcome news as the Hotel has already initiated such moves and has some physically-challenged staff on its pay roll.
